An important COVID-19 update from Spice Fusion

Dear customer,

With the number of COVID-19 cases continuing to rise in the UK, we are writing to reassure you that we have carried out a number of measures to help protect our team and customers, whose wellbeing is our number-one priority.

We continue to regularly brief our team on the latest advice from Public Health England and our team members are fully aware of the importance of ensuring that best hygiene practices are followed throughout our kitchen, bar and restaurant.

Our kitchen is using our practices that awarded us a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 as a foundation for the process by which hygiene standards are maintained, now with the addition of more frequent sanitisation of work and food preparation surfaces.

In the bar and dining room all surfaces and touch points are being sanitised every 2 hours. We have installed hand sanitisation stations for use by customers and staff.  We have removed the use of hot towels, straws, bar runners and coasters.

All staff have been briefed on robust hygiene and sanitisation practices. Any team members who have returned from affected areas abroad have been asked to self-isolate for 14 days since the outbreak. (This doesn’t affect any of them currently - but they are very aware of this policy.)

For takeaway deliveries we are offering a contactless drop off service as well as cashless payment options.  We will shortly be applying tamper-proof stickers to all food containers and packaged items.

We are working hard to minimise disruption to our customers as much as possible, while at the same time taking sensible precautions to protect people’s health. We continue to assess the situation daily and have closely aligned ourselves with the latest government advice and guidance.

If you have any questions, please give me a call (01634 933123).

We would like to thank you for your understanding and support during this time.

Kind regards,

Rajeev Gupte

Manager & Owner
