This year, Spice Fusion celebrates its 10th Anniversary at Deanwood Drive, Parkwood, Kent.
We're planning a few things for the Summer to celebrate, but also wanted to delve a further back in the buildings history - originally The Cherry Orchard (but also for a few years operated under the name "Cherries" )
We've got a few pictures and are beginning to piece together some information about the pubs history. But as it opened in the late 60's (before the age of social media and people taking/posting photos of everything they do), it's quite a challenge.
Were you a customer of The Cherry Orchard / Cherries?
If you've lived in the area for a few decades, it's likely that you visited The Cherry Orchard - maybe with your parents, or perhaps it may have been your first visit to a pub as a teenager with your friends (when ID age proof wasn't the pre-requisite to getting served at the bar!)
If you've any photos or memories, we'd love to receive them. The aim is to have some kind of display of these in the bar this Summer - to celebrate our 10th Anniversary, but also to say "Happy Birthday" to the building - which is 50 years old this year!
